Experience

Mark Szal is a litigation associate in the Employment Practices Group and Professional Practices Group. Mark has represented clients in wage and hour compliance, discrimination and wrongful termination claims, including class actions, arbitrations, lawsuits in the Superior Court and complaints before the MCAD. Mark also specializes in professional liability and the defense of architects, engineers, and other design professionals. Prior to joining Donovan Hatem, Mark served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts from 2006-2007, and is currently a member of the Legal Research and Writing faculty at New England Law Boston.
