Dana L. WeferAssociate
212-268-5092 Direct Telephone Experience Dana Wefer is an associate in the Litigation Department of the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses primarily on construction litigation in New York and New Jersey. Ms. Wefer’s prior litigation experience includes complex business law, labor and employment issues, constitutional law, construction law, and intellectual property infringement. She has also worked pro bono on cases involving campaign law, open government, and free speech rights. Ms. Wefer recently argued before the New Jersey Supreme Court in favor of homeowners living in community associations' First Amendment right to put political signs in their front windows. Ms. Wefer earned her B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Rutgers University, summa cum laude, in 2004. In 2007, she earned her law degree from Rutgers University, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar, an associate editor of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter and a member of the Moot Court Board. During her time in law school, she was selected to be a fellow with the Eagleton Institute of Politics. Ms. Wefer also holds an M.S. degree in Biotechnology.
